Contributions
Contributions to this blog are encouraged, whether or not they have appeared elsewhere. Pieces need not be fully baked — feel free to submit short thoughts, works in progress, or brief reflections.
The following types of articles are especially encouraged:
- Essays/articles that deconstruct the assumptions in a popular news story or in a research study and point out hidden assumptions embedded in their causal logic.
- Articles that present systems concepts by using contemporary events and headlines – Donella Meadow was perhaps the master of this in her bi-weekly column “The Global Citizen.”
- First-hand accounts of model-building processes, whether “successful” or not.
- Model walkthroughs.
If you would like to submit your piece as a guest author, please email >Eric Stiens. If you see yourself contributing regularly, please create an account for yourself or request that one be created for you and I will give you author credentials for the blog, as well as a contributor bio.
Pen names are welcomed.
